Biography

Sherry Goodvin is the author of Authentic Wandering: Trekking the Camino A Pilgrimage to Self-Love. As a lifelong educator, mentor, and coach, she has spent over forty years guiding others on their paths of growth and self-discovery. With a deep belief in the power of connection, she has served in various roles—teacher, leader, writer, and facilitator—each grounded in her passion for supporting meaningful and lasting transformation.

As a devoted horse lover, Sherry has discovered a great passion for combining her professional skills with the intuitive presence of her equine companions to support others in navigating life’s challenges through equine experiences, reconnecting with joy, and experiencing a level of healing. Her personal mission is simple yet powerful: to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, and deeply understood, promoting self-acceptance and compassion.

Sherry holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and is passionate about the role of authentic dialogue and collaboration in personal and collective growth. She is a lifetime educator, certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), a Happy for No Reason Trainer, and a Certified Equine Facilitator.

She lives in Broomfield, Colorado, with her partner Tom and their dog, Gracie. She also volunteers at the Healing Souls Ranch horse rescue in Longmont, where she has adopted two horses. Her book is a reflection of her journey as well as an invitation for you to reflect on yours.
